Post that it still keeps your interest alive till the intermission, but sadly starts slipping soon and then gets lost somewhere in the added subplots of the second half ending in an impressive manner. Opening without any long introductions or build-ups, the first 30 minutes are the best part of BEHEN HOGI TERI, especially the scenes revolving around the sudden death and cremation of the old grandmother. Yes, for many, the title might be an objectionable sexist one, but the truth remains that it is a very commonly used phrase by the young school-college going boys referring to the girls living in their close neighborhood or mohallas, known to them since childhood.
